The Tumaini Way 2.0 is a self-paced, comprehensive Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) curriculum designed to equip students in grades 6-12 with the tools and strategies needed to navigate the complexities of their environments. By integrating mindfulness, a healing-centered and trauma-informed approach, and inclusive curriculum content, this program sets itself apart from other SEL offerings. Our curriculum uses relatable and engaging content that is culturally affirming and student-centered, fostering equity and social justice while closing gaps in our community. It supports the five core competencies of CASEL while fostering a deeper sense of self-awareness, emotional intelligence, and social responsibility.
